The house of Esther

The goal of the House of Esther is to assist battered women and those with children to increase their quality of life while obtaining the necessary skills to maintain it. The program objectives emphasize the creation of personal goals, participation in the training and financial programs, utilization of resources given by the therapist to assist in specific goals and improving quality of life. Evaluations are used to gain feedback from participants and stakeholders throughout the program. Other evaluations provide participants the opportunity to give feedback about the program, their personal learning outcomes, the therapist, and the facility after participation. Outcomes are determined through the use of pre- and post-test measurements of quality of life and goal attainment.
